Holly
At age seven Holly got her first box of 64 Crayola Crayons with the built in sharpener from her mother, an elementary art teacher. By the end of that day Holly created her first masterpiece! She had drawn a life size picture of her golden retriever Slow Down, who was properly named after hearing her mother so often say "Holly slow down"! The only problem was that Holly's canvas was her bedroom wall! Fifteen years later, with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in hand from the Art Institute of Chicago, Holly's mother once again gave her a new box of 64 Crayola Crayons.

Her raw talent, educational training and extensive portfolio made her a highly sought after artist. Having been courted by several large advertising agencies prior to graduation, she chose one of the top companies located in Chicago. She worked as an Art Director for five years. Though her projects varied by industry, she mainly worked with two accounts, both heavy hitters in the hotel industry.

In 1997, during a two-day break from a business trip to San Francisco for the grand opening of a swanky hotel in the downtown area, Holly met Douglas, a cinematographer while visiting Point Reyes National Seashore. Douglas was filming the annual gray whale migration for a piece that would be used in a major motion picture. After dating long distance for a year, she made the decision to step away from the fast paced life and at age 27 she moved to San Francisco.

Within several months of relocating to the Bay area she started her own advertising agency in which she worked exclusively with hotel industry clients until 2007. Now Holly is pursuing her hobby as an artist. She has had several well-received shows at posh art galleries in the Bay area. When not working with the Girls, Holly stays home with their two daughters Ashley and Katy. The family lives just north of the Golden Gate Bridge in the charming bayside town of Sausalito, a thriving artist community with several world-class art galleries.
